Where Curiosity Leads the Way

A faith-based microschool in Wayne, West Virginia, serving students in K-5th. Our small learning community is designed for families seeking a loving environment where curiosity, exploration, and meaningful learning can grow.

Why Choose Us

Hundred Acre Learning Center was created to provide a small, supportive educational community where children feel loved, safe, and inspired to learn. With more than twenty years of experience serving children and families, founder Wendy Collins designed the school around the belief that curiosity, exploration, and meaningful relationships help students thrive. In a small mixed-age setting, each child is seen as an individual and supported in discovering how they learn best. The goal is to nurture confidence, celebrate questions, and help every child’s love of learning grow.

Faith-Based Learning

The school is intentionally designed as a faith-based learning community for families seeking that foundation.

Individualized Attention

The small school setting allows the teacher to understand each child’s interests, strengths, and learning style.

A Loving, Safe Community

The program is built to provide a supportive environment where children feel secure and encouraged to grow.
